Madewell...The Store On My Radar This Month -

I want to shine a spotlight on Madewell…the store’s clothes are the epitome of laid back cool!

Millard “Mickey” Drexler (who took Gap to its “rising star” status in the 90’s and who is now CEO of J. Crew) reinvented this old New England factory “workwear” label in 2007 into something that is young, hip, and laid back.

I visit this store to find classic styles that I can mix into my everyday wardrobe. I just bought these two pieces that I can wear together, day or night. And, of course, bought them in my favorite color- black!

Skinny Skinny Ankle Coated Motorcycle Jeans | $135.00

I love this muscle tee! I will definitely be going back and buying it in heather gray and white. The linen gives the tee a cool drape, and I love its sexy, semi-sheer finish! A perfect layering piece all year-round.

I have been looking for a black-coated skinny jean to wear this fall. This motorcycle jean is slim, yet stretchy and finished with cool, moto-inspired zip details. It fits much better than the J Brand pair I bought last year, and it’s half the price!
